Friday, May 9th, 2008Canadian Music legend Paul Anka sold a lot of Kodak cameras in the 1970s with “The Times of Your Life,” a song he had written for the camera makers.
Paul Anka recorded the jingle for Kodak in 1975, and many people remember the commercials fondly, mostly for Anka’s signature vocals. Paul Anka decided to build on the success of the endorsement by recording “The Times of Your Life” as a full single.
The song was, unsurprisingly, a hit for Paul Anka in 1976. Paul Anka still includes his work with Kodak in his live performances. He sometimes quips “Is that a Kodak camera?” to fans trying to snap a picture of the noted songsmith.
